Account and data deletion

Delete your VESTA App account

Request deletion from the app or by email.

Request deletion in the app

  1. Open VESTA App and go to Profile.
  2. Sign in to the account you want deleted.
  3. Under Privacy and account deletion, select Request account deletion.
  4. Confirm your contact email and send the pre-filled account deletion request.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “VESTA App account deletion request.” Send the request from the email address associated with your VESTA App account, or include that address in the message. We may ask you to verify account ownership.

Data that will be deleted

After account ownership is verified, deletion includes:

  • Your VESTA App account and profile information
  • Your cloud receipt history, receipt details, and associated shopping insights
  • Receipt images still associated with your account in VESTA App storage
  • Account-linked scan usage and plan-access records controlled by VESTA App

Data stored only on your device can be removed by deleting it in VESTA App, clearing the app’s storage, or uninstalling the app.

Data that may be retained

We may retain limited records when required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. This may include purchase transaction records maintained by Google Play or our subscription processor, security logs, and correspondence documenting the deletion request. Retained data is kept only for the applicable required period and is not used to provide ongoing VESTA App services.

Processing time

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days and will contact you if additional information or time is required.
